Frequently Asked Construction Hire Questions

Can we extend our hire?

Yes, you can extend your hire. Most construction customers we don’t schedule your collection until you let us know you want it collected. We can usually collect within 24-48 hours.

How tall are your toilets?

They’re 1.2m wide and 2.3m tall. We trolley toilets into place, which means they can’t be placed more than 15m from truck access. To enable reach when pumping out the waste upon collection and servicing.

My toilet is out of water, can I fill it up myself?

Our toilets draw their water for flushing the toilet from under the sink. The sink is on a hinge if you lift the sink and fill with water your toilet should resume flushing.

How do I work out what servicing I need?

We work off the numbers: 1-3 people = monthly servicing, 4-6 people = fortnightly servicing, 7-10 people = weekly servicing and any more than that we recommend getting additional toilets or going to twice or thrice weekly servicing.

Can my toilet be taken up steps or over fences?

Our toilets are put in place with the use of a trolley. They weigh about 100kgs when empty and as soon as we fill them with water and chemicals they become a lot heavier, which is why we don’t take them up steps or place them over fences.

    Thanks for this great service of upmarket toilets for our workers. The price is very reasonable, the cheapest we’ve had so far, but the service and quality is of gold star grade. I must say the ladies don’t mind visiting this toilet as well, as they normally turn their nose up at the other dirty smelly one’s and usually go to the closest shopping centre, and waste valuable time off their work, so thanks Viking Rentals for making a cleaner, safer working environment and a great service.
